Zydeco your way through the Waterfront Blues Festival! This custom pass was built for friends and enthusiasts of the Cascade Zydeco Association and Mysti Krewe of Nimbus, a dancer-run weekend bringing blues, Zydeco, Cajun and swing dancing to all generations at the festival. Plus, you get the perks of the Blues Buddy pass, including early entry, discounts to After-Hours shows and more!

Highlights on one of the region’s largest outdoor dance floors at the Front Porch Stage includes programming for blues and swing dancers all day Thursday, July 2, blues and swing dance competitions Friday, July 3, and Zydeco/Cajun dance programming Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5.

Lineup highlights include Chubby Carrier & the Bayou Swamp Band, Kevin Naquin & the Ossun Playboys, Soul Creole, Terry & the Zydeco Bad Boys, Mason Trail & Zydeco Rhythm, and other acts TBA.

  • Discounted admission to After-Hours shows. (only $5 per show for Blues Buddies, advance price $20 each). Limited quantities are available. After-Hours shows are 21+.

Zydeco Blues Buddy pass holders who purchase discounted After-Hours shows will receive their After-Hours ticket at the time of check-in at the festival. Please present your hard copy ticket to be scanned for entrance at the After-Hours show.

Blues Cruise Information

  • Boarding for the “Blues Bayou” cruise begins on Friday, July 3rd at 2:30 p.m., sails at 3 p.m. and returns to dock at 5 p.m.
  • All Blues Cruises board from the seawall at SW Salmon St. and Naito Parkway, in front of the Salmon Springs Fountain and just north of the Front Porch Stage.
  • Please bring your photo ID. All passengers must present a valid photo ID upon boarding. All carry-on bags are subject to inspection, and passengers may be photographed.
  • The cruises will head south up the Willamette River to Oregon City, and/or north past the Port of Portland docks.

The Waterfront Blues Festival is committed to providing a world-class event to the community of Portland and beyond that presents diverse musical arts, culture, and entertainment. The festival has been committed to using its broad platform to create awareness and support of hunger relief efforts. We have been supporting organizations that focus on music and fighting hunger insecurity since 1988.

Look for an e-mail from Ticket Tomato one week before the festival explaining how to redeem your receipt for festival credentials, as well as further information about parking, event access and more.

Kids 12 and under free (one child per paid accompanying adult). Tickets required
for guests of all ages on all blues cruises. After-Hours shows are 21+.

All tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-tax deductible.
