Sam Dinkowitz recently directed Spectravagasm and Durang Durang at Post 5 and Dracula: A Musical Nightmare at Stumptown. He has worked with Profile Theatre, Third Rail, Portland Center Stage, Shakespeare Project, Artists' Repertory Theatre, and many other companies. Sam received his BFA from Southern Oregon University. "Bite Me... is a combination of my three loves: Local playwrights, Campy musicals, and Vampires. I love campy musicals because the heightened style allows us to push the traditional theatrical boundaries to their limits and create pleasantly absurd worlds. The melodrama of the vampire genre is rich with comedic opportunity, and it has been a demented delight putting this production together. In my personal opinion, this show 'sucks' in all the best ways."

Matt Insley is thrilled to return to music direction. After spending the summer working on the Post5 stage, Matt recently co-composed with Jessica Tidd the chamber musical The Rape of Lucrece. He is thrilled to be working with such an incredible cast and band. He sends his thanks and love to all of his friends and family, especially Elsie.
Arlie Conner wrote the script for Bite Me a Little and developed the music with Bill Larimer.

Previous musical theater works include Manifesto and Fighter Girl. He plays around town with the Bathtub Toasters band and recently started an LED stage light company. Previous work featured lasers, LCD projection systems, holography, and electronic music. Arlie received his BS in Music and Mathematics from the University of Oregon.

The directors and playwright gratefully acknowledge our friends, collaborators, and mentors: Bill Larimer, Marv Ross, Matt Rebski, Mimi Silliau, Mark LaPierre, John Carpenter, Heidi Hunter, and Juliana Wheeler.
