The Tour of Untimely Departures is a live-action tour in Lone Fir Cemetery! 

Our much-loved holiday tradition is back! Ghostly guides escort groups of guests on one of two candle-lit routes where they meet some of the cemetery’s residents and hear the unusual circumstances surrounding their untimely departures. Warning: This tour features mature topics.
 
We encourage people to come in costume, but as this is a resting place for family members and beloveds, we request costume choices be tasteful and respectful of those resting in peace.
 
Please note that dogs are not permitted on cemetery grounds at any time. The tour is fun and informative for the whole family, but will contain some mature content (though no blood or gore).
 
Tour Information: 
  • Tours run every 10 minutes starting at 5:00 pm, ending at 9:00 pm.
  • If you do not see your preferred timeslot while purchasing tickets below, that tour time likely SOLD OUT. 
  • Please plan to arrive up to 10 minutes prior to your timeslot. 
  • Timeslots can not be traded once you have purchased your tickets. 
  • All tours will be sold in advance online; there will be no walk-up sales on the day of the event. 
  • Meet us at the Cemetery Gates at SE 26th/Stark

Tickets are nonrefundable.

Friends of Lone Fir Cemetery was created in 2000 as a 501(c)(3) organization when community volunteers became concerned by an increase in vandalism. The group strives to preserve the headstones of the deceased, the green space they exist in, and the stories of its residents for future generations.
