Join us on July 16th for a special "outdoor listening room" night of indie-folk, cow songs, and old-time country vibes. This special show will take place in The Grotto at The Ruins under the canopy of trees and lights. The evening will be a collaboration with our friends at The Red Barn Church of Music to bring their highly curated, well-revered winter music gatherings into the sweet summer air of our unique Grotto Bar space. We've always wanted to host intimate shows in the Grotto, and we couldn't think of a better group to work on this new concept with than the folks from The Red Barn. 

The night will feature two acts: The 1st act will feature one of the Gorge's finest songwriters, Garett Brennan, and his longtime music collaborator Jon Neufeld (Martha Scanlan, Black Prairie, Delorean) on guitars. Garett and Jon only play out a few times a year in the NW, so this will be a special treat to hear these old pals connect. 

The 2nd act will feature two rising stars from the LA freak-folk old-time scene, Bar Jay Bar and Pete Posie. Both Pete and Joey can pretty much play any stringed instrument you toss into their hands, and are each traveling with their own vault of killer country tunes, so who knows where the night will take them once they unleash their unique blend of salty tunes and stories. 

Tickets: $20 advance, $25 door

Online ticket sales stop at 11:59 pm the night before the show. Tickets will be available at the door starting at 5:30 pm the day of the show.
