Guided tours of the Native Garden during the Point Defiance Flower & Garden Festival will highlight the garden's unique features, plants and history. Tours will be led by one of Metro Parks' horticultural experts. This ticket includes a festival pass with access to all of the event's exclusive lectures, demonstrations and activities.

This garden was established by the Tacoma Garden Club. It displays and celebrates the native flora of the Pacific Northwest. Paths winding through the 1.5-acre garden pass a lovely waterfall, pond and striking wooden gazebo that Thomas Church helped design and place. The Tacoma Garden Club is instrumental in the maintenance and development of this Northwest treasure.

Native Garden Tour Tickets: $17

   - (4) tours available Saturday. (3) tours available Sunday.
   - 10 spots available for each tour.
   - Tours are 45 minutes in length and involves walking over uneven ground.
   - All Native Garden Tours will meet at the Rose Garden Shuttle Stop.
   - Participants will be shuttled to and from the Native Garden.
   - Check in 10 minutes before the designated start time.
   - Festival Pass included with this purchase.
   - Festival Pass allows entry to the lectures, demonstrations and activities on both days.
