PACKED HOUSE ENTERTAINMENT PRESENTS: The Bitchins Annual Parkinson's Benefit Bash!
Hosted by The Bitchins, Parkinson's Resources of Oregon, Packed House Entertainment & Diversity Cafe.
The Bitchins are a high power, full force funk, and rock band playing the best in horn-heavy tunes from Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, Aretha Franklin, and many MANY more.
Featuring a full-throated, six-piece horn section, kicking rhythm, and masterful vocals this historic band boasts top-call players and vocalists from as far away as LA, Dallas, and Argentina! You will NOT struggle to be out front on the dance floor once this band cranks up.
This "once-a-year" reunion event has grown in popularity from jamming in a garage to performing at many great venues in Portland. 100% of the evening’s proceeds will be donated by the Bitchin’s members to Parkinson’s Resources (PRO) in honor of band member, Phil Hodapp (alto sax and vocals) – 20+ year fighter of Parkinson's disease. You won't want to miss this – reserve your seats today!
Food, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages available.
Get your boogie shoes on and come dance to your heart’s content!
Thank you to the Bitchins for making the fantastic event possible! Greg Van Winkle (drums and percussion), Benjamin Irom (keyboards), Scot Gudger (bass), Dan Polidori (guitar), Troy Frei (vocals), Sarah Lodge (vocals), Angie Eckman Bunda (vocals), Trevor All-Day Jones (trumpet), Kenneth Thiessen (trumpet), Kevin Allen (trombone), Phil Hodapp (alto sax and vocals), Richard Temple (tenor sax), Brian Kincaid (tenor sax and vocals), and Laura Nelson (bari sax).
