Jai Baby is a female hip-hop artist from Portland, OR. She started performing in September 2019 at an Open Mic for Wav Pro where she performed her song "BYFU" off of a YouTube instrumental and found inspiration from local artists such as Veana Baby & Sotae whom she met at the venue that night.
Wren the Band is a Portland based soul band that will make you forget your surroundings and melt into the present. Come forget life's BS, let the music move your body and be delighted. The music is heavily influenced by the sounds of both modern and classic soul, funk, and pop. Together, these two fuse the genres into a sound that is both familiar and fresh.
Majik9, a Portland-based rapper with Chicago roots, is a self-made singer, rapper, and producer. Majik started writing poetry which led her to pursue her music career. Some of her inspirations include Prince, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, India Arie, Timbaland, Missy Elliot, Pharrell, Funkadelic, Zhane, 702, Queen, Aaliyah, etc...
A.spendabeat, aka Aspen, is a DJ and music producer from Atlanta, GA making her way into the Portland music scene with the help of Ladies of the Rose. DJing for local artists and events she brings her own unique southern style to the scene so expect to hear at least one OutKast song in her set. In her free time she produces lo-fi, hip hop, boom-bap, and trap beats with heavy 808s and soul samples.
Candid Ramblings is a rapper who represents the dirty South and the dusty Southwest, hailing from Lake City, Florida and El Paso, Texas. She's a former college basketball player chasing her second dream. As a true lyricist with an undeniable flow, her lyrics are vulnerable and wise beyond her years. Candid's metaphors and wordplay will have you hooked on phonics and vibing to her dreamy beat selection.
Estellah Deann Hill is an American singer-songwriter. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Orenton B Hill Jr. January 6th, 2001 in Portland, Oregon. Estellah has practiced music since the age of four and has performed on various platforms. One notable performance was starring as a Ballerina at the age of 7 as a Snowflake in act.1 and a Chinese dancer in act.2 for the Oregon ballets “The Nutcracker” at The Keller auditorium. Estellah has also had the opportunity to perform at the Loews Hollywood Hotel for Vocal Stars showcase where she experienced red carpet training and shook hands with industry professionals: Peter Rafelson the owner of RM records, responsible for selling over 300 million records, Wendy Starland who is Honored for the songwriters hall of fame, Awarded Vh1's best-emerging artist and discovered lady Gaga. When it comes to music, she began to write her own music at the age of 13 and has evolved since. she has performed at Portlands summer festival “The good in the hood” and her very own showcase to perform her unreleased singles “Sorry Momma” “Thoughts of you” “I meant it” and “Lose myself with you” at the age of 16. Estellah became inspired by R&B Queen Beyoncé Giselle Knowels Carter, Rihanna, Halle Berry, Naomi Campbell, Aretha Franklin, Jennifer Lopez, Lady GaGa, and Taylor Swift. Aside from music, Estellah has also found interests in Modeling, Theatre, track/field, Basketball, cooking, building her own clientele for styling hair, and creating her own makeup to one day release her entire makeup line out on the market as well as her custom perfume . while being as dedicated to her music as she was to sports she soon brought herself to be the 12th fastest girl in the united states. Although, soon drew her main focus to music and entertainment. Her first released single/music video “High by the beach” created a breakthrough for her music career with 4.7k plays and has gone viral singing “I miss you” by hip hop princess Aaliyah and reached 4.5k plays. Estellah has also created her own foundation to find the cure to cancer “Singing for the cure”. Estellah’s goal is to become as successful as her idols Beyoncé, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, and Halle Berry.
