Machado Mijiga - A portland Native, Machado Mijiga is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, audio engineer, and music educator. Mijiga's largest current projects consist of Leader/Drummer for Djungol Jim, Tour de Force, Double Dash, and Dingus. Mijiga Blends sounds from past and present into a cultural melting pot filled with heart, mind, and soul.
Description: This benefit music series will feature Portland's top Soul, Latin & Jazz bands.
During the shows, we will spotlight positive tangible commentary from community activists, select nonprofits, and social equality advocates sharing ideas and strategies to unite our divided country.

Swade Jazz:
Stacey Wade - Former Memphis Boy's Choir leader, Stacey Wade is a self-taught piano player and studied classical music for three years when he was asked to be the keyboardist for Al Green. Stacey attended Berklee College of Music on full scholarship and lead to collaborations with the late Billy Preston, May J. Bige, Michael McDonald, Musiq Soulchild, Bonnie Raitt, Macy Gray, and Brian McKnight.
Ben Jones - A native of Detroit, Michigan Bend has enjoyed a perpetually busy career spanning over 25 years and has performed, toured, or recorded with artists including The Neville Brothers, Anita Baker, Jeff Lorber, Rick Braun, Frank McComb, Lloyd Jones, Michael Firestone, and Jennifer Batten.
Brian Foxworth - Brian has enjoyed a career as both a leader and sideman for many national artists. He received critical acclaim for his performances awarded Best Drummer by the Cascade Blues Association, and the Oregon Music Hall of Fame Inductee. He has collaborated with Curtis Salgado, Pleasure, Paul DeLay, The Drifters, Paul Gilbert, Linda Hornbuckle, Chaz Shepherd, Jazmin Ghent, and Peewee Ellis.
