Desperately Seeking Susan - New Jersey housewife Roberta Glass (Rosanna Arquette) spices up her boring life by reading personal ads, especially a series of them being placed by a mysterious denizen of New York City named Susan (Madonna). When one of Susan’s ads proposes a rendezvous with her suitor (Robert Joy) at Battery Park, Roberta secretly tags along. But when her voyeuristic jape ends in permanent memory loss and a new jacket, Roberta begins to gather a lot of unwanted attention from some unsavory characters.

CINEMA UNBOUND DRIVE-IN THEATER THE BRIDGE LOT AT OMSI - The Northwest Film Center has announced programming for its Cinema Unbound Drive-In at OMSI running in July 2021. The series will offer drive-in screenings of great movies at OMSI with food, drink, fun weekend themes, and costumes.
Last year, the Portland Art Museum’s Northwest Film Center (NWFC) began a creative reimagining dubbed “Cinema Unbound,” a new artistic vision that redefines the notion of cinema to expand beyond the walls of a theater and include cinema, TV, media arts, audio, and immersive storytelling.
Building upon last year’s wildly successful Cinema Unbound Drive-In, the Northwest Film Center and Portland Art Museum is again collaborating with community partners to connect with audiences and bring innovative film and new media exhibitions to life.
As part of The Cinema Unbound Summer Movie Series, the Northwest Film Center welcomes guests to safely gather and experience the power that truly radical and entertaining cinematic storytelling can bring. Unbound from the traditional movie theater setting, we’re creating new venues throughout the city.
