“L’Alchimie Musicale” is an uncommon evening of art and song. Developed by lyric soprano Kate Morrison (Singer and co-founder of Kate & The Crocodiles, and a guest soloist with Pink Martini and the Utah Symphony) and one of the Northwest’s most sought-after and innovative pianists, Craig Bidondo, the duo explores art songs, combining them with original compositions and their own arrangements of contemporary music.

L’Alchimie is a French word for the seemingly magical process of transformation, combination, or creation. Enjoy works that blend everything from Schubert and Led Zepplin, to Carissimi, Queen, Gounod, Nirvana, and The Rolling Stones and much more—all set in the gorgeous Classic Pianos space. A performance by this duo has been said to be, “Like spending an intimate evening with good friends—you know, the kind of friends who can go from a classical aria into Led Zeppelin and can make it seem normal.”
