Join Brigham and Ginger Edwards of North Fork 53 Tea to explore the wonderful world of tea and through tasting and conversation.  You will learn about sustainable tea farms they have encountered in their journeys to Sri Lanka and India and their own current project in developing the Oregon Coast's first tea farm.  Ginger and Brigham will share 4 different grades of black Ceylon tea made from the same organically grown tea plants from the Ahinsa permaculture tea farm in Sri Lanka. They will demonstrate the difference of each grade in terms of processing and plucking.  You will taste the flavor that each grade of tea produces and learn brewing techniques for each and share tasting notes. Then they will share greens teas from China and Japan to compare and experience while weaving in tales from in the ancient world of tea. 

North Fork 53 is a new tea and herb farm on the north Oregon Coast with lodging as well as tea garden tours and tastings. 

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Seaside High School Culinary Arts Program by the North Coast Culinary Fest.
