For this very special 20th anniversary event, Jimmy Mak’s presents the man that helped to set the musical tone of the club, Thara Memory.  Thara has since gone on to become one of the region's premier music instructors, leading his "American Music Program" to many regional and national awards, and mentoring Grammy-winner Esperanza Spalding.

A Grammy award winner himself, Thara Memory performs the music he loves with his signature soul jazz flair. Vocalists LaRhonda Steele and Andy Stokes, backed by a band of stars including sax sensation Devin Phillips, will have you movin' to the grooves of the classic R & B scene.
