For this very special 20th anniversary event, Jimmy Mak’s presents the outfit that The Oregonian dubbed, “Jimmy Mak’s signature band”: The Mel Brown B-3 Organ Group!

Within weeks after the band’s debut at the old Jimmy Mak’s, excited fans were lined up around the block on Thursdaynights to hear their exciting, fresh combination of classic organ-group soul-jazz, Motown, and more.  Two decades later, and the guys are still packing them in!  

All of the original band members will be on hand for this special event: Mel Brown, Louis Pain, Renato Caranto, Thara Memory, and Dan Faehnle.  They’ll be joined by other band members past & current: Dan Balmer, Stan Bock, and Curtis Craft.  Get ready for an evening of musical fun & fireworks!
