Based in Denver, Colorado, the Ivy Street Ensemble (ISE) is familiar to Oregonians from regular performances at the Chintimini Chamber Music Festival in Corvallis. Comprised of three Colorado Symphony musicians, Catherine Peterson, Erik Peterson and Phillip Stevens, ISE presents a diverse array of classical chamber works, Baroque to contemporary. Well known throughout Colorado, ISE is frequently heard on National Public Radio in Denver. In 2015, ISE received second place in the Chamber Music category with the American Prize, an award celebrating American excellence in the arts. In 2013, ISE won a grant from Chamber Music America to premiere a commissioned piece by composer Kanji Bunch. In 2008, the group was a finalist in the National Flute Association Chamber Music Competition.
