ISES Portland throws a great holiday party. And you're invited! Help us kick off the holiday season with a festive evening over at Union Pine, Portland's most talked about venue these days. Scope out this new space, take a seat on Santa's lap -- and eat, drink and be merry!

Thank you to Artemis Catering who will be filling our bellies with incredible hors d'oeuvres, and My Bartender who will be keeping us jolly and our cheeks rosy! Yes - cocktails! And to top that off, DJ Soul Shaker (aka. Nick Clearwater of Bird Dog Creative) will be providing the tunes, and getting those hips a-movin'!

ISES & the Oregon Food Bank
ISES is all about giving back, especially during the holiday season. In honor of the spirit of giving, we request that you join us in our food drive to support the Oregon Food Bank. On Tuesday, 11/27, please bring one (or several) of the items listed below with you to Union Pine. We will make sure these items get in the hands of those who need them most.

Oregon Food Bank needs these nutritious foods:
•       canned meats (i.e., tuna, chicken, salmon)
•       canned and boxed meals (i.e., soup, chili, stew, macaroni and cheese)
•       peanut butter and other nut butters
•       canned or dried beans and peas (i.e., black, pinto, lentils)
•       pasta, rice, cereal
•       canned fruits and vegetables
•       100 percent fruit or vegetable juice (canned, plastic or boxed)
•       cooking oil
•       shelf-stable milk
•       consider donating healthy, low-fat and low-sugar products
