The Portland Soul All Stars Tribute to Etta James

Tonight, The Portland Soul All-Stars present a tribute to the great Etta James. One of the all-time great blues, jazz, and soul singers, Etta James (1938-2012) was a giant of American music.
 
For this special tribute, three of the Northwest's finest female vocalists-all inspired and deeply influenced by Etta-will not only sing her great hits like "At Last", "Tell Mama", and "I'd Rather Go Blind", but will also weave them into a narrative of Etta's fascinating life story. The result will be a very special tribute to the late, great, and never to be forgotten, Etta James!

The featured vocalists for tonight's show will be LaRhonda Steele, Lady Kat, and Lisa Mann (who will also play bass). Filling out the line-up for the Portland Soul All-Stars will be "King Louie" Pain on the Hammond B3 organ, Peter Dammann on guitar, Renato Caranto on sax, and Micah Kassell on drums.
