English Rockabilly phenom LEVI DEXTER makes his first ever Portland appearance at Portland's 'Home of Roots Music' DUFF'S GARAGE.
LEVI DEXTER is Internationally known and respected for his development of the music style called Rockabilly, a mixture of Blues and country music from the mid to late 1950’s.
During the 1970’s Levi Dexter recorded the
rockabilly sound in a more modern recording setting. This important development produced the Neo-Rockabilly style that Levi Dexter is so
well known for.
Levi Dexter formed the legendary band Levi & the Rockats in 1977. Having completed the “Eddie & Sheena” tour of the UK In 1978 Levi headed to Los Angeles where he performed sold out shows at many of the larger clubs in Hollywood including the Whiskey-A-Go Go, the Starwood and the Roxy.

His live shows are always energetic and fun with lots
of dancing.
