PDX Jazz at The Hoxton, Tracy Kim Trio

Friday, October 16, 2026

5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

PDX Jazz is back with live jazz at The Hoxton's Lobby Bar, bringing live music and crafted cocktails to the heart of downtown. Starting Friday, September 25, unwind from 5–7 PM with intimate performances from some of Portland’s most dynamic jazz artists.

Artist: Tracy Kim Trio

The Tracy Kim Trio brings its distinctive chamber-jazz sound to the PDX Jazz Fall Hoxton Series on Friday, October 16, 2026, at The Hoxton.

Featuring Tracy Kim on lead guitar, Joseph Kim on rhythm guitar, and Dax Smith on upright bass, the all-acoustic string trio blends vintage warmth with a modern sensibility.

The trio’s repertoire draws from timeless jazz standards, Brazilian bossa nova, and the music of Django Reinhardt.

All three musicians are native Oregonians and have performed together throughout the Portland area for more than 20 years, developing an intuitive musical connection and a sound uniquely their own.
