COMING UP THREES

Catch CU3 for a high-energy, Celtic-inspired, pint-raising set on the Quarterdeck Stage! Coming Up Threes is a six-piece Irish pub band that formed in Portland, OR, in early 2012. The band features Bill Tollner on guitar and lead vocals; multi-instrumentalist Jeremy Bauer on penny whistle, banjo, bodhran, percussion, and vocals; Naoyuki Ochiai on fiddle, accordion, and vocals; Chad Marks-Fife on Fiddle, Mandolin, and vocals; Charlie Norris on bass; and David Fender on drums.

TEMPEST

Since forming in 1988, Tempest has brought their high-energy blend of Celtic folk rock and world music to more than 2,500 performances around the globe. The band weaves Irish reels, Scottish ballads, Nordic influences, and driving rock rhythms into a sound built for revelry. Reunited with its original lineup, Tempest brings more than three decades of music, mischief, and unstoppable energy to the Swashbuckler’s Ball.

BELTAINE

This Celtic band, hailing from Portland, features a diverse lineup of instruments, including hammered dulcimer, guitar, accordion, bass guitar, flute, and pennywhistle. Performing both instrumental and vocal tunes, Beltaine offers a unique blend of instrumentation and musical styles. The original and traditional music performed by Beltaine is inspired by Celtic, folk, rock, and classical sources.

BERGAMOT BURLESQUE

A premier entertainer on SwashBall stages for over 10 years! Bergamot returns with an impressive troupe of performers and their signature sultry nautical burlesque shows. Don't miss their performance on the Quarterdeck stage!

BIDDY ON THE BENCH 

Portland’s own Biddy on the Bench brings Irish rebel songs and shanties, lively session tunes, and mournful Gaelic ballads to the Swashbuckler’s Ball. Their spirited performances blend traditional Irish music with the warmth, energy, and camaraderie of a packed pub session. A longtime Belowdecks favorite, they’re a true SwashBall mainstay!

SCUPPER MONKEYS 

An Irish band with a Pirate habit! The Scuppermonkeys are a Seattle-based Irish band inspired by the tunes of Ireland... but with a pirating habit they just can't kick! They perform traditional tunes and drinking songs, Irish rebel and folk music, roaring sea shanties and stirring ballads, and much, much more, all with a healthy helping of swashbuckling! Featuring strong vocals, acoustic guitar, bodhran, fiddle, Irish whistle, and more, The Scuppermonkeys' sound is characterized by foot-stomping rhythm and melodies you just can't help but sing along to!

About the venue:

The Milwaukie-Portland Lodge #142 is one of the largest lodges in the country, with a 63,000-square-foot building housed on 5.7 acres on McLoughlin Blvd, next to the TriMet parking garage. Located just south of Downtown Milwaukie, this exciting venue allows us to feature multiple stages and multiple bars! Conveniently located at the end of the Orange MAX line. This year's venue also features ample on-site parking!
