Pop-Up Dinner: A Taste of Liberia & Lebanon, feat. Chef Kesh

Please join The Ruins and Chef Kesh for the first of two special pop-up dinners, featuring the cuisines Kesh was raised on, growing up in Liberia.

Kesh says:

"My mother carried Liberia in her hands. My father carried Nigeria in his bones. My Uncle Frank carried Lebanon on his tongue. Three people, three countries, one boy in a Monrovia kitchen, learning that food is how you tell someone they belong. Forty years later, I still cook their recipes. This August, I am bringing all three tables to the Ruins."

"Four courses served family style, my mother's coastal West African table set beside my Uncle Frank's Levantine one, finished with dessert. This is the meal that raised me."
