Oak Hills 4th of July Celebration

The Oak Hills celebration, established in the mid-1970s, has evolved significantly. What began as a small neighborhood firework display has grown into an iconic, community-wide event, attracting between 8,000 and 10,000 attendees for the main fireworks show. Despite never advertising outside the Oak Hills neighborhood, the event has become a cherished Beaverton tradition. The day features a variety of activities running from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, culminating in a large, professionally managed fireworks display complete with food trucks and music.

For nearly 50 years, the event was funded entirely by donations. However, to offset the rising costs associated with a show of this scale, ticket sales were introduced in 2022. The event holds great traditional importance for the 650 homes that make up the Oak Hills neighborhood. 

Due to the event's size and the significant work required for its execution, we are in the process of professionalizing our operations and seeking strategic partners. Our goal is to ensure a financially sustainable and safe event while preserving the neighborhood feel and cherished traditions. Ticket prices are intentionally kept as low as possible, with the goal of covering the cost of fireworks and other event expenses. We believe that Ticket Tomato will be a key partner in this effort.

• Non HOA: Child - $8 | Adult - $15
• HOA: Child - $4 | Adult - $8

Tickets are $8/$4 and $8/$15 until 12:00 midnight on July 3. Tickets purchased on July 4, either through this website or at the door, are $8 or $15 for everyone. Oak Hills strongly encourages attendees to purchase tickets before July 4 and through the Ticket Tomato website.
