Fridays this spring, unwind with live jazz and crafted cocktails at Lovely Rita inside The Hoxton, Portland. From April 17 through June 5, PDX Jazz brings an intimate lineup of performances to the heart of downtown every Friday from 5–7 PM. Sip, savor, and start your weekend with the perfect mix of music and atmosphere.

Artist: Akila Fields Trio

Akila Fields is a Portland-based musician, photographer, and creative known for work in experimental, electronic, and soul music. He is a multi-hyphenate musician in Portland, Oregon. He makes shoegazing R&B as Palm Dat. As a member of pop R&B outfit Shy Girls, he toured the country, sharing stages with Maxwell, Little Dragon, HAIM, and more. Every Saturday, he co-hosts ‘Intuitive Navigation, ’ a radio show on xray.fm. He recently directed and scored an experimental hybrid music video/short film, ‘I Saw the Mountain’, which debuted at the Portland Panorama film festival.
