Guitarist Lloyd Jones is quite simply one of the best-kept secrets in the blues/soul music world. Between his chicken scratching and gutbucket groove guitar and his raspy-too-many-smoke-filled-clubs vocals, this man will knock you out! Oh and by the way, his band will knock you out too, especially keyboardist Glenn Holstrom, who is as bad as they come on the Hammond B-3 Organ, and can boogie you out of your shoes on piano.  Don’t take my word for it, check out the endorsements he has, from the likes of Delbert McClinton to Robert Cray.
