DJ Bergmönch: Bergmönch stepped onto the scene in 2020 after purchasing his first vinyl turntables as a quarantine hobby - the rest was history. Inspired by the roots of house music, soulful R&B vocals, and lo-fi beats Berg has developed a sound and style uniquely his own. An activist at heart, he uses music as a way to connect people and is driven to make the house music scene more inclusive and welcoming.
His music is powered by demanding four-on-the-floor beats and made for grooving. From disco and lo-fi house or R&B to Jazz, Berg leaves no stone unturned - when he is spinning you're sure to have a great time and find some new music!
DJ Skinny Miracles: With almost two decades behind the turntables, deejay Skinny Miracles brings the style and finesse to be a deejay. Always bringing top-shelf tunes in many styles ranging from Soul, Funk, Reggae, Jazzy grooves, beats, bass, and rhymes; he uses vinyl and digital to keep that true form of deejaying alive. With a focus on transitions and song selection, he brings a vibe to an event like no other.
Description: This benefit music series will feature Portland's top Soul, Latin & Jazz bands.
During the shows, we will spotlight positive tangible commentary from community activists, select nonprofits, and social equality advocates sharing ideas and strategies to unite our divided country.
