Julana Torres "La Colora":  La Colorá is a new Salsa band with Portland’s cream of the crop Salsa musicians that is fronted
by Julana Torres (La Colorá), a fixture in the Portland Salsa scene for over 20 years. The group features a fierce rhythm section, and songs are accompanied with choreographed routines by the vocalists that are sure to inspire everyone to get up and dance! La Colorá specializes in Cuban and Puerto Rican style Salsa music and plays original songs as well as covers by artists such as Los Van Van, Bamboleo and Marc Anthony.

Description: This benefit music series will feature Portland's top Soul, Latin & Jazz bands.

During the shows, we will spotlight positive tangible commentary from community activists, select nonprofits, and social equality advocates sharing ideas and strategies to unite our divided country.
