A day on the Willamette River floating to the sounds of the best in area blues featuring the Journey to Memphis All Stars including Blues Music Award Winner Lisa Mann, Muddy Award Winner Rae Gordon and Franco Paletta.

All floors of the boat will offer live music to sip along to.  Memphis themed, including food that can be purchased on board.

Acts highlight musicians who have competed in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee as winners of the local Cascade Blues Association's Journey to Memphis contest.

LISA MANN

Lisa has been awarded the prestigious 2016 Blues Music Award for her mighty skills on the bass guitar, an award which she also took home in 2015. Her first award win fell hot on the heels of her win for Blues Blast’s Sean Costello Rising Star Award, as well as three Muddy Waters Awards from the Cascade Blues Association for Contemporary Blues Act of the Year, Bass Player of the Year, and Northwest Recording of the Year. Her latest release, Hard Times, Bad Decisions debuted on the Living Blues radio chart at #7, and on the International Blues Broadcasters Association chart at #10, and can be heard burning up the airwaves worldwide.

RAE GORDON & THE BACKSEAT DRIVERS

3 time Muddy Award Winner for Best Female Vocalist, Rae is known for her sense of humor and range that allows her to do a rock blues to a soft ballad. Rae Gordon is a 2 time semi finalist in Memphis at the IBCs and the current winner and representative of the 2016 Journey to Memphis Contest and will be representing Portland, Oregon February 2017 on Beale Street.

FRANCO PALETTA

Since breaking into the Portland Blues scene in the Mid-80's, Franco Paletta has become a mainstay of the city's Blues fans. His dynamic harp style and unique vocals has made him one of Portland's favorite Blues personalities. A Chicago Style Blues Band that makes you want to get up out of your seat and dance the night away. Franco's unique vocals and dynamic harp, along with the best players on the local scene and beyond make this a "must see" Blues act.

14 year old Timothy has been making blues waves around the Portland Metro area, known as much for his flowing red hair as his incredible guitar style that harps back to seasoned players 4 times his age. He is one to watch!

Proceeds from the cruise will get Rae Gordon & the Backseat Drivers to
Memphis and help lend financial support to the solo and youth act.
