Legendary NW soul singer Andy Stokes’ amazing renditions of the Marvin Gaye classic “Let’s Get It On” invariably bring down the house, which inspired a pair of smash hit, sold out “Andy Stokes Sings Marvin Gaye” shows at Jimmy Mak’s last November and this June.

“Andy Stokes Sings Love Songs” represents a new, exciting wrinkle: Andy singing nothing but his favorite soulful love songs! The playlist will include a bit of Marvin Gaye, of course, but also romantic hits by the O’Jays, Percy Sledge, Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Sam Cooke, and other soul greats.

For this show, Andy will be joined by organist/musical director Louis “King Louie” Pain, guitarist Dave Iula, bassist/vocalist Leah Hinchcliff, drummer/vocalist Brian Foxworth, and saxophonist Andy Warr.
