The Jazz Society of Oregon is proud to recognize the enormous talent of vocalist Shirley Nanette, by honoring her as their 2013 Hall of Fame inductee. Shirley has long been recognized as a Portland treasure, winning many honors as a top-notch vocalistand entertainer. For this concert she will be accompanied by Vince Frates (piano), Bill Athens (bass), and Tim Rapp (drums).

Opening the show will be the Lincoln High School Jazz Combo, winners of the Jazz Society's 2013 Annual High School Jazz Ensemble Competition. This group is another fine example of the high caliber of the students and teachers of jazz in our area, you will be impressed.

Join us for an evening of jazz as we celebrate our newest Hall of Famer, one of Portland's great jazz vocalists, Shirley Nanette!
