Dana Fuchs and her band are the real deal, having performed sold-out shows at The Mercury Lounge and BB King's, and sharing the bill with national acts including Little Feat, Marianne Faithfull, and Etta James.

Tonight, Dana performs at Jimmy Mak's with her full band in support of her newest release, "Songs from the Road".

Dana belts out sassy soul-laden renditions of her own tracks and covers, she has a gravelly edge to her voice that is distinctly hers, but at the same time you can hear echoes from the past from Janis Joplin, and from today’s Bonnie Raitt and the bluesy tones of Maggie Bell. This is a lady who is comfortable delivering a range of tones and tempo’s.
