Live Piano Score composed and performed by Beth Karp!

According to legend, a 16th century rabbi brought to life a giant clay automaton in order to protect the Jews of Prague from persecution. This golem was animated by occult forces almost beyond human control, creating the potential for great triumph or tragedy. Paul Wegener’s 1920 film, The Golem, retells the legend in a grand and atmospheric tour de force.
