The Paul Creighton Project unites Portland’s finest jazz and soul players with the songwriting and vocal talent of Intervision frontman Paul Creighton.

A PDX super band if there ever was one, the PCP features Jarrod Lawson on keys and vocals, Jay “Bird” Koder on guitar, Damian Erskine on bass, Reinhardt Melz on drums, Joshua Cliburn on saxophone, and Paul Mazzio on Trumpet. We will also be inviting special guest and soul virtuoso, Miss Leisa Hart to round out the evening’s stunning vocal showcase. Join us for a memorable night of original and cover music.

Paul Creighton has received multiple songwriting awards with the Intervision project, including an Independent Music Award for Best R&B song. Unsigned Magazine calls Creighton “an artist whose tenor has shades of Marvin and Stevie” while the Willamette Week more aptly states “G-dd-mn, can Paul Creighton sing.” He has toured with The Motet, Joey Porter’s Funk Tributes, Soul Vaccination, Intervision, and he has had the distinct honor and privilege to perform alongside such greats as Nate Watts (Stevie Wonder), Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson, Jeff Beck), Chester Thompson (Tower of Power, Santana). Creighton has opened for multiplatinum artists Lifehouse, as well as the Neville Brothers, Little Richard, McKinley, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, among other nationally touring acts.
