Joey DeFrancesco & The Vibe
Wednesday, December 4th
Two shows:  7:00pm and 9:30pm

Two time Grammy nominee, and a multiple winner of Downbeat Magazine's Critic's & Reader's polls, Joey DeFrancesco, the world's pre-eminent Hammond Organ player joins us for another smoking show.
Joey has put together a new collaboration with long-time friends and musical brothers Ramon (drums) and Tony (bass) BandaJose "Papo" Rodriguez (percussion) Steve Cotter (guitar) , and Steve Wilkerson (tenor sax). The result is a blend of Joey's signature Hammond sound, with Latin rhythms, R&B, and straight-ahead jazz.
The Latin influences come straight from the masters, with Ramon, Tony, and Jose having spent extensive time performing and recording with Poncho Sanchez and Arturo Sandoval, to name a few.
Steve Wilkerson is an accomplished musician with a big sound, and has performed with Tony Bennet, Cout Bassie, and Sarah Vaughan, among others.
LA based guitarist Steve Cotter's influences are obvious, with his melodic style recalling the sounds of Wes Montgomery and George Benson.
This promises to be a unique performance, with Joey masterfully weaving his Hammond Organ with Latin rhythms and R&B...don't miss it!
